Personal Biography:

Kathryn Legg was born in Athens, GA in January 1964 and lived with her mom, who nick-named her Kitten, along with her younger sister, Angela and two brothers, Douglas & Joel. They moved a lot, mostly around the Athens area, through her 8th grade year. She looked forward to spending time each summer at her Grandmother Wells' place in Lakemont, GA on the beautiful Lake Rabun. For Kathryn, Lake Rabun felt like "home".

In Sept 1978 she moved to her Dad's in Covington, GA and attended Newton County Comprehensive High School all four years of high school, graduating in 1982. Upon completing her required courses for graduation she left in April 1982 to take a traveling sales position with Hallmark Studios; went back for three days in June for her graduation ceremony then back on the road; visiting 42 of our states in two and a half years.

During ninth grade, Kathryn met her best friend, Sophia Gourley who overheard her nick-name Kitten and changed it to Kitty which stuck all through high school. Today Sophia is a Realtor, married to Michael Beale and she and Kathryn are still best friends. In 1984, Kathryn Legg moved to Gwinnett County and accepted a sales position at Stone Mountain Ford where she sold new cars. In January 1986 she married and left sales for a 9-to-5 Administrative position with an interior design firm in Buckhead. In April 1988 she gave birth to her son, Andrew and quit her job of two years to be a stay-at-home mom, babysitting other children in her home for income. In Dec. 1992 she gave birth to her daughter, KayLeanna and four months later quit babysitting and began selling Mary Kay Cosmetics as well as doing the makeup applications for Cowan Photography's Glamour Shoots one Saturday per month. From there she began receiving requests to do bridal makeup and entire wedding parties. During this time she began adding other products to her makeup kit and eventually transitioned out of the Mary Kay business. In May of 1999 her then husband and father of her two children left them and filed for divorce. One month later, June 19th, a friend set her up on a blind date with Patrick Flynt. Five months later they married on November 19, 1999 and moved to Dacula, GA. Patrick adopted Andrew and KayLeanna in 2000 giving them his last name too. Patrick supported Kat's dream of working as a makeup artist and after nine years of Kat successfully proving her natural talent and self taught skills, he encouraged her to continue her education and become a licensed Esthetician (Skin Care Specialist). She enrolled in International School of Skin & Nails in Dec 2002 but took a leave of absence and later went on to graduate in Oct. 2004. Kat's son, Andrew is now married with children of his own. Kat's daughter, KayLeanna has attended Dacula schools since second grade and is now in11th grade at Dacula High School. She enjoyed being a cheerleader her three years in middle school while she also did a little bit of modeling starting with Atlanta Models & Talent (children's division) and then in 2005 moving over to acting with Houghton Talent. KayLeanna is now very active in Drama Club at Dacula High and is currently serving as the Key Makeup Artist and learning stage makeup techniques.
